Communication Device/Helmet
Front
my helmet is a simple design on the front of the design it has glass which the player Daisy will be looking out of, if i had it my way i would change the games screen so while she is wearing this then it would look like you are looking out of the glass itself (of course that would only be if she was in first person mode but if it was third person then that would be unnecessary).
Side
on the side you are able to see the head piece a bit more clearly which goes onto the screen this is a apart of the helmet and what makes it a communication device.

Back
there is nothing too important on the back but there is pipes of some sort that connect to Daisy's suit (seen below) that allow her oxygen supply.

Laser Gun
Front
you are not able to see much using the front of the gun, the most you are able to see is the end where the gun shoots, the sight quite visibly and what the energy bar looks like bulged out.
Side
i struggled creating the same design that i had earlier on paper while using illustrator. on this design you are able to see the simple design of the handle. the energy bar on the gun as well as the sight and end where the lasers will come out of.

Back
you cant see anything different with the back of the gun the only difference with the front is that you cant see the end and the energy bar is on the opposite side.

Scientific Toolkit/Hi-Tech Watch
Front
the watch which also functions as a scientific toolkit is probably a key game mechanic because this shows your health, ammo, and also serves as a way to change weapons/ use tools because my inspiration for this is 007 where you change equipment with a watch so i thought you would be able to materialise things with your watch.
Side
from the side you are able to see the screen but the only major difference is the fact that you can see the strap more clearly.

Daisy Isidore
Front
this is the suit that i have designed for Daisy as you can tell the helmet's front view is on top of the design which connects to the body. the suit is a unusual design with pieces bulging out which would allow for the suit to be bulky and strong yet flexible at the same time. the markings on the suit include the ships/crews icon on the waist and the crew members number on the chest (in the case of Daisy that number is 6) the suit also has green arrows on the legs there is no particular reason for this, its mostly for aesthetic but i also thought it could be used to run power around the suit.
Side
From the side you are able to see the arrow markings that are on the arms of the suit but apart from that the only difference is the fact that you can see the oxygen supply which contains a box on the back that stores the oxygen and the tubes (mentioned above) that supply it to the helmet.
Back
from the back the only clear difference from the front is the fact that there are no markings and the fact that you can see what the oxygen supply looks like more clearly with the fact that you can see the shape that i have envisioned and where they connect with the helmet.

Task 3 – Design Pack
Produce a design pack
that explains what each asset will look like. You will need to produce clear,
scaled sketches or photomontages of your character’s equipment from the top, front,
back, bottom and side (where relevant).
Shoot any additional
reference imagery and textures, make measurements and draw diagrams to provide
you with the information you need to model your assets. Your design pack will
evolve as the modelling develops. Remember
that the three assets you are going to model represent the minimum required.
These will then feature within your 3D environment being created for your Unit
70 Game Engines assignment.
Check your work
carefully, complete and sign the legal and ethical checklist.
Remember that you are trying to generate thoroughly
thought through ideas for 3D models showing creativity and flair and working
independently to professional expectations.
